The Rolling Stones have been a part of my life since I was born. One of my dad’s favorite groups, I discovered them through his old LPs as a young child and loved them ever since.

Despite my near-constant fandom, I never got the chance to see them until now.

They brought their Hackney Diamonds tour to Seattle on May 18, 2024. What a show!

Jo Bonamassa kicked off the night. But everyone was obviously waiting for the main act.

It was like listening to a greatest hits album. Song after song that everyone knew by heart and sang along. Mick was in peak for, especailly given his 80+ years. He pranced up and down the stage, out into the crowd. Keef hung back, but still prowled the stage from side to side, and Ronnie, the youngster in the group, bounced around the stage having a ball.

It may sound a little dramatic, but for me, it was a lifelong dream come true, an almost spiritual event.
